John R. Colvin

John R. Colvin was born September 20, 1941, in Greene County, Alabama, to the late Lizzie Colvin. He confessed Christ at an early age.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Colvin; four brothers, Earnest, Frank, Cameron, and William Colvin; and two sisters, Catherine Davis and Eliza Carey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Carrie Colvin; two nephews, Rodney Jamal Gee and Zayn Gee, whom he loved as his own; two loving sisters, Margie Swain and Emma Groudy; a sister-in-law, Shirley Spencer; four brothers-in-law, John, Ronnie, Willie, and William Gee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
